The Bolaven Plateau in southern Laos boasts a perfect climate for agriculture thanks to its raised flat lands. Exploited by the French in the early 20th century, for tea and coffee plantations, it became a dramatic theatre of the “American Secret War” during the Vietnam War, for its strategic position. L’altopiano del Bolaven, nel Laos del sud, ha un clima perfetto per l’agricoltura, grazie alle sue pianeggianti terre in altitudine. Sfruttato dai francesi all’inizio del 20° secolo, per la coltivazione di thé e caffé, diventò un drammatico teatro della “Guerra Segreta Americana” durante la Guerra del Vietnam, a causa della sua posizione strategica. Dagli anni ’90 si è risollevato alla sua natura originaria, diventando la capitale laotiana del caffé. Un epico viaggio, in moto, sull’altopiano per scoprire la sua affascinante terra ed i suoi abitanti.
